Yurei is a Decentralized Investment Organization that delivers value to its NFT holders through a trustless smart contract protocol spanning multiple chains. The goal of Yurei is to establish an ecosystem that offers early allocations, promoting a fairer and more evenly distributed investment landscape.
In Web3, getting early access to good investment opportunities usually comes down to who you know or how deep your pockets are. It’s not exactly fair—and it’s definitely not accessible for most people.
Yurei's goal was to change that. It’s a decentralized investment organization that gives NFT holders access to early allocations through a trustless, multi-chain smart contract system. The goal? Make investing more transparent, more fair, and actually available to the people who usually get left out.
The challenge was designing an experience that could take something pretty complex and make it feel clear, trustworthy, and easy to use—even for people who aren’t deep into the technical side of crypto.
When the Yurei team contacted me, the concept was solid—but the product needed a clearer story and a smoother experience. The goal was to make something that felt clean and trustworthy, even though it was operating across multiple chains with a lot going on under the hood.
I started by breaking down the complexity—mapping out the key flows, like wallet connection, staking, and viewing allocations. Then I worked closely with the team to figure out what absolutely needed to be there on day one, and what could come later.
From there, I moved into wireframes and quick prototypes to test different layout ideas and messaging approaches. Since the audience ranged from NFT newcomers to DeFi veterans, the challenge was balancing clarity with depth—giving confident users the info they needed without overwhelming everyone else.
I also worked on brand direction, making sure the visuals matched the tone: futuristic but grounded, crypto-native but not intimidating. The result was a product that felt sharp, smooth, and accessible—something users could trust with their time (and tokens).
With Yurei, I helped take an early concept and turn it into a fully realized product experience. There was no existing interface or design system—just a vision and a whitepaper. I worked closely with the team to define the core product flows, user experience, and visual identity from the ground up.
The final design made a fairly complex idea—a multi-chain, decentralized investment protocol—feel simple, intuitive, and trustworthy. We built out key flows like wallet connection, staking, and early access, all tailored to both new and experienced crypto users.
The polished UI and clear UX helped the team build early credibility and gave them a strong foundation to share with the community, investors, and potential partners—something tangible that told the story and showed the value.
